Acceptance of this Privacy Policy, use of the Career Bridge Service, creation of a Career Bridge account, or provision of a mobile telephone number does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive recurring SMS, MMS, or RCS messages. Where consent is required, mobile messaging consent is obtained separately through the applicable opt-in process.
Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

Account means a unique account created for You to access Our Service or parts of Our Service.

When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
We may also collect information that Your browser sends whenever You visit our Service or when You access the Service by or through a mobile device.
Information Collected while Using the Application
While using Our Application, in order to provide features of Our Application, We may collect, with Your prior permission:

We use this information to provide features of Our Service, to improve and customize Our Service. The information may be uploaded to the Company's servers and/or a Service Provider's server or it may be simply stored on Your device.

To provide service and operational communications: We may contact You by email, telephone, SMS, MMS, Rich Communication Services (RCS), push notification, or other electronic communication to provide information related to Your use of Career Bridge. These communications may include account notifications, course or project invitations, project updates, milestone and deadline reminders, event reminders, submission and status updates, work-based learning activity notifications, communications from instructors, administrators, project participants or other authorized users, customer support communications, service announcements, and account or security alerts.

These communications are intended to facilitate Your use of the Career Bridge Service and are separate from marketing or promotional communications.

Marketing and promotional communications: We may provide You with news, information, offers, events, or promotional communications regarding Career Bridge products, services, programs, or opportunities where permitted by applicable law and consistent with Your communication preferences. Consent to receive service or educational SMS, MMS, or RCS notifications does not constitute consent to receive marketing or promotional mobile messages. Where separate consent is required for promotional mobile messaging, Career Bridge will obtain such consent before sending those communications. You may change Your marketing communication preferences or opt out of promotional communications at any time.

To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.

For business transfers: We may use Your information to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Data held by Us about our Service users is among the assets transferred.

Research and Development: We may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information for research, statistical, and analytical purposes, including academic research, reports, studies, and publications, provided that no personally identifiable information is disclosed without your consent.

Mobile Messaging Data Limitation: Notwithstanding any other provision of this Privacy Policy, mobile telephone numbers, text messaging originator opt-in data, messaging preferences, and messaging consent are excluded from the information-sharing categories described below and will not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties, affiliates, business partners, or lead generators for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile messaging information may be shared only with aggregators, telecommunications carriers, and Service Providers as necessary to administer, operate, and deliver Career Bridge SMS, MMS, RCS, or similar messaging services, or as otherwise required by law.
We may share Your personal information in the following situations:

With Service Providers: We may share Personal Data with Service Providers that process information on Our behalf to operate, maintain, secure, analyze, support, or provide the Service, including providers that facilitate email, SMS, MMS, RCS, push notifications, or other communications. Mobile messaging information may be provided to messaging service providers and aggregators only as necessary to administer and deliver Career Bridge messaging services and not for those providers' independent marketing or promotional purposes.

For business transfers: We may share or transfer certain Personal Data in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, acquisition, restructuring, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law and this Privacy Policy. Mobile messaging opt-in consent will not be treated as transferable authorization for another entity or sender to send SMS, MMS, RCS, or promotional mobile messages. Where required, the successor entity must obtain appropriate consent before initiating such messaging.

With Affiliates: We may share Your information with Our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. Affiliates include Our parent company and any other subsidiaries, joint venture partners or other companies that We control or that are under common control with Us. This provision does not authorize the sharing of mobile messaging opt-in data or consent with affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

With business partners: We may share certain Personal Data with Our business partners where appropriate to provide products, services, programs, opportunities, or promotions, subject to applicable law and this Privacy Policy. Mobile messaging opt-in information and consent records are not made publicly available through this provision.

With Your consent: We may disclose certain Personal Data for other purposes where You provide appropriate consent, subject to applicable law. This provision does not permit Career Bridge to transfer or share text messaging originator opt-in data or messaging consent with another business, affiliate, or third party for that party's independent marketing or messaging purposes.
Mobile Messaging and RCS Communications:
Career Bridge may offer users the option to receive communications through SMS, MMS, Rich Communication Services (RCS), or similar mobile messaging technologies.
Where You opt in to mobile messaging, We may collect Your mobile telephone number, messaging preferences, consent records, including the date, time, and method of consent where applicable, opt-in and opt-out status, message delivery information, and other information necessary to administer the messaging program.
Career Bridge mobile messages may include account notifications, course and project invitations, project updates, milestone and deadline reminders, event notifications, submission and status updates, work-based learning activity notifications, communications related to Your participation in Career Bridge, customer support communications, service announcements, and account or security alerts.
Consent to receive Career Bridge service, educational, or operational mobile messages is separate from consent to receive marketing or promotional mobile messages. Opting in to service or educational notifications does not authorize Career Bridge to send promotional mobile messages unless You have separately consented to receive those communications where required by applicable law.
Mobile information, including mobile telephone numbers, messaging opt-in data, and consent, will not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of information sharing described in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with third parties, except aggregators and service providers as necessary to provide the SMS, MMS, RCS, or other mobile messaging services.
Message frequency may vary based upon Your activity, participation, projects, courses, deadlines, notifications, and communication preferences. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of recurring mobile messages at any time by replying STOP to a message. You may reply HELP for assistance or contact Career Bridge using the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy.
Retention of Your Personal Data
The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Mobile messaging information, including mobile telephone numbers, opt-in data, and consent records, may be processed by messaging aggregators, telecommunications carriers, and Service Providers only as necessary to administer and deliver Career Bridge messaging services and not for their independent marketing or promotional purposes.

We may use third-party Service providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. Career Bridge does not intentionally provide mobile messaging opt-in data or messaging consent records to Google Analytics for advertising or promotional purposes.

Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.
